The Future.  Currently we plan to continue the survey and collection project during the winter of 2003-2004.   This work will focus on continued systematic sampling of our study area and developing/testing of spatial models.  In addition, we will investigate some new areas outside the study area to put our findings in a somewhat larger context.  It is expected that four more seasons will be required to fully document the extent and variability of archaeological occurrences in the High Desert landscape adjacent to Abydos.
