A. Bennette Harrison: Up Close and Personal

Affiliation: University of Pennsylvania

starting second year of M.A. in the fall ; interest is paleoanthropology

Favorite Pech pastime: catching the rays at noon

Little known fact: still plays Magic

Favorite saying: "My name's not Alicia."

Profile: Pech IV is Bennette's first dig in France, although her first time in the field was in Virginia. She's done projects on the Morton collection and the ecology of Darwin's finches. In just one day here, she broke the long-standing record for number of artifact photos taken in a day. We believe this is because she's slowly succumbing to the lure of lithics. Bennette's from the south, but doesn't have an accent (yeah, right), and claims she's a night owl  (which makes us wonder what's she's hunting).
