| Profile: She's
done archaeology in Jordan, Egypt, Cyprus, France, the American Southwest
and Hawai'i. She knows a smattering of Arabic, Hawaiian, German, French,
and Russian. Her true love is desert archaeology, but she's willing to
force herself to work in the south of France now and then. She loves
looking at stone artifacts, especially the really tiny ones like
microliths. Deb is known to many in the archaeology world as MD or Mad
Dog, a nickname going back to her graduate student days. |
