Jennie Woltz: Up Close and Personal

Affiliation: University of Pennsylvania

starting junior year in the fall; interest is English and Anthropology

Favorite Pech pastime: wearing two left-shoe flip-flops

Little known fact: thinks mummification is cool

Favorite saying: "What do you mean?"

Profile: Jennie's been to France several times, but this is her first excavation project. She's worked as a copy editor for the Daily Pennsylvanian and as streetscenes editor for 34th Street Magazine. She reads a lot, especially 20th century American literature. Although her initial interest was biology, by the time she went off to college she was an English major, and then took anthropology classes (we're winning her over to the "dark side"). She knows how to crochet and knit (we hoped she would make us all warm things to wear to beat the cold and damp weather earlier this season!).
