Views of Carsac and the Area

The village of Carsac, in southern France, is one of the first sights that members of the Pech IV excavation team encounter. Local conveniences include a tabac, boulangerie, pharmacy, post office, and general store.

The Périgord region is famous for its architecture and ambience, including ancient churches and chateaux. In the summer, daylight lasts until 10 PM or later, leaving lots of time after the work day to explore.
