| Patrick Bidart and Alain Dalise. Before we started excavating Level 8 on the south section, we made a cast of the section. The casting process involves first covering the section in several coats of latex. Next the latex is held in place and given structure with a coat of fiberglass and resin. Once it is dry, both layers are pulled from the section. The result is a mold from which a cast of the section can be made. We use the time lapse camera to capture the process. |
