Mapping
In the summer of 1998, a complete set of topographic points were taken at the site, and an accurate and detailed topographic map of the site was made. In addition, the exact position of Pech IV relative to the other sites of Pech I and II was fixed for the first time (site map), and the original site datums established by Bordes were integrated into the database.
